Quality Assurance

We have evolved a comprehensive protocol to monitor the quality of our products at each stage of production. Random quality appraisals are performed on the products prior to dispatch and a detailed test report accompanies every shipment that leaves PMC factory.

For us, every customer is a lifelong investment and adherence to a stringent quality control procedure is our way of ensuring total and uncompromising customer satisfaction.

PMC is proud to have been the first Indian mica manufacturer to have received the ISO 9001:2000 certification from TUV Suddeutschland, an attestation of our efforts at total quality control.

Quality Control Laboratory

A well equipped lab at our factory, equipped with calibrated instruments to measure particle size, density, moisture content, colour and temperature resistance, ensures that every bag of product leaving PMC is made strictly as per agreed specification. In-process testing is carried out at all critical stages of production followed by final inspection. All shipments are accompanied by test certificates issued by our QC Lab.

ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIAL GOVERNANCE

Environmentally consciousness is built into every product manufactured by PMC, right from sourcing mica from legitimate mines and production process that uses solar drying to reduce electricity. Our factory is surrounded by green cover of mango orchards to mitigate process pollution from spreading beyond the perimeter.

We are members of the Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI) a global agency whose members are committed to social responsibility of all the stakeholders of the mica supply chain from mining to end product. We have a zero tolerance policy towards engaging any child labour in our entire supply chain and a large number of women and workers from deprived sections of the population makes PMC an equal opportunity employer.
